Data Deletion Instructions

1. Overview

At Setloop, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to disconnect Setloop from your Meta/Instagram/WhatsApp accounts, how to request deletion of your data, and what happens to your information when you do.

2. Disconnecting from Meta/Instagram/WhatsApp

You can disconnect Setloop from your social media accounts at any time using one of these methods:

Option A: From Setloop Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Setloop account
  2. Navigate to Settings > Connected Channels
  3. Click Disconnect next to each channel you want to remove
  4. Confirm the disconnection when prompted

Option B: From Facebook Settings or Accounts Center

  1. Go to Facebook Settings or Accounts Center > Apps and Websites / Business Integrations
  2. Find "Setloop" in the list of connected apps
  3. Click Remove to revoke access

Option C: From Meta Business Settings (for WhatsApp Business)

  1. If your WhatsApp Business Account was connected through Meta, go to Meta Business Suite or Meta Business Settings
  2. Navigate to Business Integrations or System Users
  3. Find "Setloop" and remove it from your Meta Business integrations
  4. This will revoke Setloop's access to your WhatsApp Business Account

Option D: From Instagram Settings

  1. Open Instagram > Settings > Security > Apps and Websites
  2. Find "Setloop" under Active apps
  3. Tap Remove to disconnect

3. Requesting Account and Data Deletion

To request complete deletion of your Setloop account and associated data:

  1. Log in to your Setloop account
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section
  4. Click Delete Account
  5. Follow the confirmation steps to complete the deletion

Alternatively, you can email us at privacy@setloop.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and we will process your request within 30 days.

4. Data That Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your account profile and login credentials
  • Connected social media channel information
  • Access tokens and refresh tokens
  • Webhook subscription records where applicable
  • Connected WhatsApp Business Account IDs and phone number connection data
  • Conversation history and message logs
  • AI assistant configurations and custom rules
  • Lead data and contact information collected through conversations
  • Analytics and usage statistics
  • Business information and preferences

5. Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained for legitimate business and legal purposes:

  • Billing and Payment Records: Transaction history, invoices, and payment details are retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations.
  • Legal Compliance: Information required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements may be retained as required by law.
  • Fraud Prevention: Limited data necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms of service may be retained for up to 2 years. This may include minimal anti-abuse records related to WhatsApp Business Account connections where legally allowed.
  • Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for service improvement purposes.

6. Deletion Timeline

Once you confirm account deletion, we will begin processing your request immediately. Most data is deleted within 30 days. Some backup systems may take up to 90 days to fully purge deleted data. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.
