Setloop is designed to work with official WhatsApp Business infrastructure. Your WhatsApp connection is used to receive customer messages and send replies according to your business settings.
We do not use unsafe workarounds such as:

- Unofficial phone mirroring
- Shared personal logins

Does Setloop send messages by itself?
No. Setloop is an inbound messaging assistant. It only replies when a customer has already started a conversation with your business.
Setloop does not:
- Send cold messages
- Send bulk campaigns
- Message old leads automatically
- Spam your customer list
- Start conversations without a customer message

Can my WhatsApp number be blocked?

Your conversations belong to your business. Setloop processes messages only to provide the service and keeps access restricted to authorized users from your business.
Who can see my messages?
Inside your workspace, only authorized users from your business can access conversations. Setloop does not manually read your customer conversations as part of normal operation.
Limited access may only happen for:
- Customer support requested by you
- Debugging a technical issue
- Security investigation
- Legal or compliance reasons
Are messages used to train AI?
No. Setloop does not use your customer conversations to train public AI models. Your messages are used to provide the service: generating replies, qualifying leads, and routing conversations.
Where is my data stored?
Setloop stores the data needed to operate your workspace, connected channels, conversations, AI settings, and business configuration. This may include:
- Customer messages and AI replies
- Customer names or phone numbers
- Conversation timestamps
- Lead qualification & booking data
- Workspace and user settings
Access to this data is restricted and used only to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Setloop service. We do not sell your customer conversations.
You stay in control
Can I disconnect WhatsApp?
Yes. You stay in control of your connected channels. You can disconnect WhatsApp from Setloop whenever you no longer want the assistant to access or respond to messages.
After disconnecting, Setloop will stop receiving and responding to new WhatsApp conversations for that connected account. You can also request deletion of workspace or conversation data according to Setloop's data retention policy.
Can a human take over?
Yes. Setloop is not meant to replace your team completely. A human should be able to take over when:
- The customer asks for a person
- The AI is not confident
- The conversation becomes sensitive
- The lead is high-value
- The customer has a complaint
- Pricing or contracts need confirmation
The best AI assistant is not the one that talks forever. It is the one that knows when to help and when to hand over.
What exactly does the AI do?
The AI follows the business information and rules you configure — your services, prices, tone of voice, qualification questions, booking rules, and handoff instructions.
What Setloop does not do
Setloop is not a spam tool. Setloop does not:

Will Setloop message my customers without permission?
No. Setloop only replies to conversations started by customers. It does not send cold outreach or bulk campaigns.
Can Setloop send follow-ups later?
By default, Setloop is focused on immediate replies to inbound conversations. Any future follow-up outside the active conversation window should use approved WhatsApp templates and proper customer consent.
Can I turn off the AI?
Yes. You should be able to pause or disable the AI assistant whenever you want.
Can my team reply manually?
Yes. Human takeover is an important part of Setloop. Your team should be able to step in when needed.
Does Setloop read my private conversations?
Setloop processes messages to provide the service. Setloop does not manually read your conversations during normal operation.
Does Setloop train AI models on my messages?
No. Your customer conversations are not used to train public AI models.
Can I delete my data?
You should be able to request deletion of your workspace, connected channel data, and stored conversations according to Setloop's retention and deletion policy.
